Initial Laser Scan Images

Today we were able to capture proper laser scan images and begin some image processing. The image below was taken in a dark room and the objects used were a canister and two Jenga blocks. The objects are placed on a dark material to absorb some of the light.

Some thresholding was used on the RGB components of the image to remove noise and some reflectance.

Finally, we were able to identify different objects based on pixel clusters and seperate them appropriately. We then assumed that the same image was taken 10 times and attempted to stitch these images together to form a 3D model.
